This course is a research methodology course design for post graduate mathematics students for 2 credit hours supported by tutorial through ICT laboratory practical works. For this, 2 regular delivery hours and 2 lab hours per week are required and scheduled. In general, the course is more of practical integrated course in which students are required to do a lot by themselves, more of self directed learning. The assessment will therefore be dominated by continuous assessment through projects.
The course consisys of history of mathematics, theory of learning, learning styles, lesson designs in constructivism and problem solving approaches, analytical critiques on high school syllabi, modern technology as teaching material in high schools.
